# What is Feudalism?

Once upon a time, in a castle, there was a group of peasants who worked for a landlord to earn some $Wheat. At every harvest factions of thieves would try to steal $Wheat from the peasants. After a while a group of people decided to form a militia to catch the thieves! However, it didn’t take long for the militia to become corrupt and start their own shady actions!

In Feudalism, peasants work for $Wheat tokens and lazy thieves try to steal from them. The mighty militia protects the peasants but also take a share. In addition to this, whenever a peasant tries to leave a farm, the thieves may kidnap him! However, thieves are not safe themselves, as the militia can catch them too! It may seem like the militia have power over all, but if the peasants feel there is corruption happening there may be a farmer revolt and they may imprison the militia!

In this metaverse, there is no superior strategy!
